An exciting opportunity exists to join our Head Office team at United Physiotherapy Group (UPG) as an Administrative Executive.

Here at UPG, you will find a group of dedicated physiotherapists who are passionate about delivering exceptional care in across multiple health care settings. Broadly, our group works in aged care facilities and in the community across VIC, NSW, QLD, TAS and WA improving the quality of life for thousands of aged care clients. In addition we have a Flagship Studio where we provide Pilates, Yoga and Private Physiotherapy service along with sports physiotherapy services to local clubs. As a member of the UPG team, you will have an incredible opportunity to support our lovely team who work across a variety of settings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reporting to Office Manager

  • Reception and Administrative duties based in our Head Office in South Yarra & Clinics (coverage may be required across locations in South Yarra, Malvern and Richmond locations)

  • Invoicing and taking payments

  • Customer service including answering telephone calls and emails

  • Administration tasks and support for Physiotherapy Team

  • Community Services Admin and Team Support, including new client intake, onboarding and allocation

  • Support during Staff Events and Seminars may require travel to and from locations in Metropolitan Melbourne

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in health care practice administration and reception would be beneficial but not mandatory

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with customers/clients

  • Have excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Strong social, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team

  • Team player, creating a supportive working environment

  • Confidence with using Google Suite of Applications, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong initiative and good problem solving skills

  • Experience with complaint management and resolution

  • Appropriate working visas - no visa restrictions

  • A National Police Certificate

  • NDIS Check/Working with Children Check
