Your First 90 Days at UPG
Starting your first full-time physiotherapy role can feel like a big step. Our structured onboarding program is designed to help you settle into your role, understand expectations and build confidence from day one.
During your first 90 days, you'll learn about:
UPG and your hub: Get to know our organisation, your team and how your hub operates.
Your role: Understand what a typical day looks like and what to expect as a full-time physiotherapist.
Aged care and community fundamentals: Build your foundational knowledge of the environments you'll be working in.
Equipment essentials: Learn about commonly used equipment and clinical requirements.
Documentation and communication: Develop confidence in everyday clinical documentation and communication.
Working with families and stakeholders: Understand how to work effectively with families, Powers of Attorney (POAs) and other stakeholders.
Professional expectations: Build an understanding of your responsibilities and what it takes to thrive at UPG.
You'll have a team behind you every step of the way.
